Small-batch coffee roasted in split lots, rested seven days, and profiled for slow brewing.
Ember is the house roast from an independent coffee roastery, built around a declining heat curve and a short development phase. Whole beans are sourced from a single estate in Huila, Colombia, washed and sun-dried, then roasted in split lots of 12 kg to keep colour even. The profile sits medium-dark, with a dry finish of dark cocoa, charred orange, and toasted sugar.
Best used from day seven after roast, across filter, immersion, or espresso. Dose 15–18 g per 250 ml water, grind medium, and brew at 92–95 °C for a balanced cup. The 250 g format is designed to be finished within three weeks of opening, before the oils become heavy.
Orders are packed in nitrogen-flushed matte black film with a one-way valve and dispatched from our roastery within two working days. Unopened bags can be returned in original packaging within 14 days of delivery; roasted coffee is not restocked. International shipping is available with fees calculated at enquiry.
